Hey :) The last TV from my list. VIERA TC-P65S1.

This one delivers sharp, detailed images, insane deep blacks and remarkable brightness. All of this makes watching sports and cinema-quality movies a real joy. Lower power consumption is another aspect of this TV (Energy Star qualified).

Overall, great improvement from older models.

Let's see the list of the coolest and most important features:

• 600Hz Sub-field Drive (while using cinema mode) - This technology assures superb quality of full-HD motion and still images.

• VIERA Image Viewer - Watch and show your photos right after you take them. Simply insert an SD card into VIERA to display photos on the large screen.

• VIERA Link - Allows interconnected operation of various AV devices using only the VIERA remote control, by simply connecting the devices to each other by an HDMI cable.

• Wide Color Viewing Angle - Same as in my previous description of VIERA TC-P46G10. You can see vivid and detailed images from any angle.

• AR Filter - Great reduction of reflections from external light.

• Game Mode - Maximal reduction of time lag, enhanced details - everything a gamer needs.

VIERA TC-P46G10 46-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV - Customer Reviews

The majority of all the comments and reviews I've seen (and I mean majority, like 95%) are fully positive.

This TV was often described as "the best", with "perfect picture quality", "beautiful, true colors", "deep black levels".

People were also mentioning that according to some kind of research this TV is the brightest plasma available. Well, not only research. A word about its brightness was included in many comments and personal reviews.

Anyway, let's cut to the chase. I bet you all know how this TV is/was praised. What you want to hear are the complaints. Once again, it wasn't easy to find bad words about this one.

• Speakers could be better (we have heard this one before, didn't we? Anyway, others were saying that the sound is great, so I really don't know what to think, bleh)

• VieraCast is limited and needs improvement. Some people also said that it's somewhat slow.

• Very annoying flickering with 48hz (makes this feature useless, I guess)

I'll look for more complaints and add them here, if I find something serious :)

Following what I want to do (that is: writing about and reviewing those TV's), I present you with the description of the next TV.

Of course in the terms of picture and viewing quality this TV is similar to the previous one. Cinema-like movies, clear and smooth sports and gaming action. With Panasonic's Neo PDP technology you get sharp and detailed images, deep blacks and remarkable brightness.

600Hz technology lets you view superb full-HD motion and still images with 1,080 lines of resolution. Wide color viewing angle, which essentially means that you can watch the TV from anywhere in the room and still admire vivid colors and all the details. Plasma TV's are self-illuminating, that's why images look perfect from any angle and black areas do not fade. Furthermore, AR Filter dramatically reduces reflections from external light.

Game Mode helps ensure fluid and seamless gameplay by minimizing time lag. You get the motion resolution and enhanced details you need to win! :D

One more nice thing - VIERA Cast technology, which allows you to enjoy online content like Amazon Video On Demand, YouTube videos, Picasa Web Albums, stock information, weather and more. All through an easy-to-use Web interface that's built right into the TV.

TC-P50S2 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV - Customer Reviews

Hmm, going through a few sites and looking at the reviews of this TV leaves a very positive feeling. It's actually hard to find anything bad about this one, lol.

What are people saying?

Everything is amazing - refresh rate, picture quality, colors. Great black levels. Gamer mode which works fantastic and brings a lot of joy.

The TV itself looks good. People are also mentioning it's price, which is very low for such a TV (around $1100).

In many reviews that I saw there were absolutely NO complaints, because, as the reviewers stated, it was impossible to find anything to complain about.

I was digging deeper :P So here are a few bad things about this TV, still not much:

Speakers could be better (which still doesn't mean they are that bad, huh?), standard picture setting is somewhat noisy/grainy (but you can change to cinema setting and make adjustments there, so not much of a problem).

And... that's all. I could try to find more bad things, but why not just stop and accept the fact that this TV is goooood? :)

Let's begin with the first TV from my list. So what this one has to offer?

A new panel with NeoPDP technologies, which provides the best balance of black and white under brighter environments, together with higher energy efficiency. Add a few more things, like great reduction of reflections and sharp pictures with higher contrast and you get something very pleasurable for your eyes.

Clean Touch Bezel included in this model resists fingerprints, thus helping in keeping it clean. A very cool addition.

More goodies:
VIERA Image Viewer feature, which allows you to play a slideshow of images from an SD memory card.
VIERA Link feature for controlling a variety of compatible components (like blu-ray disc players and digital cameras) through a single remote.
